Skôr by som povedal, že ide o odpoveď na volanie typickej americkej mládeže, keďže obsahuje aj pár prvkov typickej americkej „všehochuti“ a hrajú to, čo sa bude počúva? a čo si široký dav žiada. Welcome to the Black Parade je podľa slov lídra skupiny ich najemotívnejším albumom a tomu tak aj je. Album vznikol počas nezáväzného hrania v suteréne a ani členovia kapely nedúfali, že by s tým mohli vyjs? von. Vyšli a podarilo sa, ide o ich zatiaľ najlep ší album.
