My Chemical Romance je skupinka združená okolo mladého charizmatického speváka Gerarda Waya (zvyšok tvoria Mikey Way, Bob Bryar, Frank Iero a Eay Toro) fungujúca už trošku dlhšiu dobu. Welcome to the Black Parade je podľa slov lídra skupiny ich najemotívnejším albumom a tomu tak aj je. Album vznikol počas nezáväzného hrania v suteréne a ani členovia kapely nedúfali, že by s tým mohli vyjs? von. Vyšli a podarilo sa, ide o ich zatiaľ najlep ší album.
